Study: Children under 2 respond better to homeopathy for common ailments.

A study published in the European Journal of Paediatrics found that homeopathic treatments for children under two years old with common illnesses, such as fever, diarrhea, and respiratory infections, resulted in fewer sick days and reduced antibiotic use compared to conventional allopathic treatments. Specifically, children receiving homeopathic care had a median of five sick days over 24 months, while those under conventional care had a median of 21 sick days. Additionally, the homeopathic group required antibiotics for 14 illness episodes, in contrast to 141 episodes in the conventional group. No significant adverse reactions or deaths were reported in either group. The researchers suggest that integrating homeopathic treatments into standard pediatric care may offer a safe, effective, and cost-efficient alternative to antibiotics.
